We are always happy to accommodate you. If you need supplies, have a question or need to set up an appointment, feel free to walk in during our office hours. If you wish to bring your pet in for a visit, please call in advance to schedule an appointment. We often can get an appointment for you on the same day you call. If you have an emergency of course, we will see to your pet immediately.

Emergency Policy

During our office hours feel free to run in at any time if you have a dire emergency. If you do have time to call us first, it is helpful as we can set up the equipment and prepare the hospital for the arrival of your sick or injured pet.

After hours you will need to call our answering service first. They will quickly have one of the doctors get back to you with instructions as to when and where to meet the doctor with your pet. We know that you would prefer to have someone whom you know treat your pets when there is an emergency. For that reason the doctors at our hospital are available to treat our client's emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. On the rare occasion when we cannot attend an emergency we refer cases to the Animal Emergency Clinic of the Hudson Valley which is well equipped to care for your ailing pet.

Boarding Services

In addition to our medical and surgical services we are a full service boarding facility. Your pet dog will "vacation" with us in large climate controlled indoor runs. Your pet cat will spend time in either cat kennels or our new Kitty Condos. Either way they will be pampered and enjoy their stay at the Mid Hudson Animal Hospital "Bed and Breakfast"

We also offer our "Flea Free Guarantee" for all patients boarding in our hospital. Let us apply Advantage, the once a month flea control onto your pet and we guarantee they won't bring little boarders of their own (fleas) home with them!

All dogs who board with us five nights or more will get a complimentary bath.

We are also happy to accommodate birds, lizards, snakes and other exotic pets with special facilities all their own.
